Paul Bray will be commentating daily on BBC.
As part of its comprehensive coverage of the London 2012 Games, the BBC plans to provide live coverage on its Red Button service of up to four Olympic Handball matches every day. The BBC will broadcast three matches a day, including all GB matches, in the preliminary phase. From the quarter-finals onwards the BBC will broadcast all the games.
Commentary will be provided by veteran broadcaster and British Handball Hon Vice President, Paul Bray.
For Paul, who was one of the key people responsible for drafting the British Handball performance strategy and securing the funding from UK Sport 6 years ago, this will be one of the most challenging assignments in his 22 year commentating career: “I have to deliver an impartial commentary for the BBC, as we are also providing for the world feed, but having been involved with Team GB for the past six years, I will be tearing-up inside when they are playing”.
