The British Handball Association has published its Equality Policy which was formally approved by the Board yesterday.
British Handball recognises the value of diversity and is committed to equality of opportunity within the organization. The organisation aims to create the conditions where players and staff are treated with dignity and respect and to be treated solely on the basis of their abilities and potential regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, race, ethnic or national origins or socio/economic background or other irrelevant distinctions.
The British Handball Board has pledged to work to become an organization where discrimination, harassment and victimisation do not occur.
